The Philharmonic League of Northeastern PA

The Philharmonic League of Northeastern Pennsylvania supports the orchestra by raising funds through special projects, by stimulating community interest in the orchestra and by assisting the Board in the annual subscription drive and the annual campaign.

Since the formation of the Philharmonic League in 1966, volunteer members have become an integral part of the Philharmonic through fundraising efforts and stimulating community interest. Members can become involved as much or as little as their time allows. Events such as Luncheons, Raffles, and other fundraisers make it possible for the league to continue making annual contributions to the orchestra.

Their activities include providing snacks to musicians during rehearsals, fundraising at places such as Boscov’s and Macy’s, a holiday brunch at the Colonnade, a cooking demonstration-luncheon, bus trips to New York City and Philadelphia and an annual high tea. Membership in the Philharmonic League provides a rewarding social outlet and an invaluable volunteer effort on behalf of the orchestra. For more information contact us.
