NEPA Philharmonic to Present Stringfest
Performance to feature Concertmaster Erica Kiesewetter
Admirers of the string will want to join Maestro Lawrence Loh and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic (NEPA Phil) for this festive Masterworks concert. Selection include Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, featuring Concertmaster, Erica Kiesewetter; Higdon’s Amazing Grace and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.
Now celebrating its 42nd season, The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic was formed in 1972 by merging the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton Philharmonics. It is a fully professional symphony orchestra that services the entire northeastern Pennsylvania corridor. Its annual concert season runs from July through May of each year, and includes Masterworks, Pops, and educational concerts. A nonprofit corporation governed by a Board of Directors, The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic is considered one of the finest regional orchestras of its kind in the country, offering professional live symphonic performances to people of all ages.
