Alexander Kang, cellist, received a Bachelor of Music at the New England Conservatory in 2008 and recently earned his Masters of Cello Performance at the University of Redlands.

He has performed with numerous leading institutions, including the Pacific Symphony, the Harrisburg Symphony, the Redlands Symphony where he served as section cellist for two years, the New England Conservatory Symphony where he was the principal cellist, and the National Orchestra Institute where he served as a principal cellist under the direction of Matthias Pintscher.

Throughout his musical career, Mr. Kang has performed and toured in several countries in Asia, North and Central America, and Europe. He has also toured the United States with Zade Dirani, performing pieces from his project album, “Roads to You.”

Mr. Kang has earned top prizes in competitions in the greater Los Angeles area, and has studied with many accomplished musicians including Ben Hong, Kyle Champion, Yeesun Kim, and Bongshin Ko.
