The Northeastern PA Philharmonic Mentoring Program offers a unique learning opportunity for high school musicians from this region.
Music in Our Schools (MIOS) provides an in-house musical experience to children within a school facility or educational program, including special needs schools with programs for childhood handicaps, learning disabilities, or hearing and speech disorders. Whatever the venue, a small group of musicians are brought into the schools to interact and perform for the children.
Special guest, Elisabeth von Trapp joins us to rein in the holidays. The evening featured the brass group, Carolian along with the Ballet Theater of Scranton returning with the tradition of the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and surprise guests (in red).
