Masterworks – Discovering Katya Moeller

We are proud and excited to present to you our newest discovery: 18-year-old violinist Katya Moeller. She is an extraordinary violinist who plays with tremendous technique and expression. Katya performed Coleridge Taylor’s breathtaking Violin Concerto in G minor.

Masterworks – Celebrating Tchaikovsky

This concert was sponsored by the John Magagna Family Trust. It opened with one of Tchaikovsky’s best-loved works, the Romeo and Juliet Overture. Alberto Parrini, the Philharmonic’s principal cellist, was the soloist in Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme. Tchaikovsky’s glorious Symphony No. 5 closed the concert.
