Grab your Yoga mats and join us on the roof of the Market Place Parking Garage at Steamtown for the 10th Annual Yoga on the Roof! On Tuesday, July 4th, at 9 AM, Jaya Yoga, will once again sponsor one hour of Yoga, with Live Music, and Treats by Maximum Zen Café… All to Benefit the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s Outreach Programs.
At 9 AM, a short meditation will be led by Lisa Rigau followed by an all-level practice lead by Jaya Yoga owner, Hilary Steinberg, and instructor Janelle Tench. The practice will be enhanced by live music performed by the NEPA Philharmonic’s, Leah Valenches, Juliet Valenches, and Peter Brubaker. Treats will be provided by Maximum Zen Café owner and chef, Donna Vannan.
Your $15 registration fee will be donated to the NEPA Philharmonic’s education and outreach programs.

WHAT IS THE NEPP MENTORING PROGRAM?
The Mentoring Program pairs NEPA music students with our professional musicians for a unique learning experience. Over the course of the orchestra season (September – June), the students receive private lessons, chamber music coachings, masterclasses and the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a side-by-side concert with the full orchestra.
Additionally, the students will be involved in a chamber music group (i.e. duo, trio or quartet) with other students of their level. They will receive chamber music coachings from NEPP musicians in preparation for a chamber music recital. Students enrolled in the mentoring program also receive two complimentary tickets to all NEPA Philharmonic performances. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR AUDITION DATE
The Masterworks Series and Pops concerts are the cornerstone of our annual programming and consist of traditional, contemporary and holiday selections.

As people who love music, we have an opportunity to make the study and appreciation of music relevant for our young people.
Our youth oriented live concerts with coordinating classroom materials are presented to over 3,000 students each year.
You will see many people in the audience who dress formally, but you will also see other people who are dressed quite casually. If you would like to see typical audience attire, we suggest you visit our photo gallery.

We think the Holiday and Pops concerts are kid-friendly. There is plenty of action and stimulus to entertain a young audience. The Masterworks concerts are up to your discretion. If your child is able to sit quietly, then please bring them.
Yes. Please arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the concert to purchase tickets at the box office.
