Mozart’s compelling masterpiece, Requiem is an extraordinary work that captures the essence of his musical genius and expresses intense emotion, both powerful and serene.  Also on the program is Dvorak’s popular Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”. This symphony is Dvorak’s “love letter” to America that captures the unsinkable spirit of a budding nation and the resiliency of those upon whose shoulders it was built— the heroes of America. The Masterworks Series is the cornerstone of our annual programming and our most traditional series.

These concerts delight audiences with the irresistible, toe-tapping, finger snapping, POP-ular works we know and love.

Hear our incredible Philharmonic players up close and personal. Broaden your knowledge of the composers you love.

As people who love music, we have an opportunity to make the study and appreciation of music relevant for our young people.

Celebrate the joy of the season with our annual “Home for the Holidays” concerts!

Four youth oriented live concerts with coordinating classroom materials are presented to over 6,000 students each year.

KIDS web

Our organization is proud to introduce music that enriches the lives of the children and young people by offering unique programs that bring great value to our lives.

What should I wear?

You will see many people in the audience who dress formally, but you will also see other people who are dressed quite casually. If you would like to see typical audience attire, we suggest you visit our photo gallery.

How long do concerts usually last?

Approximately two hours, including intermission.

Are the concerts appropriate for children?

We think the Holiday and Pops concerts are kid-friendly. There is plenty of action and stimulus to entertain a young audience. The Masterworks concerts are up to your discretion. If your child is able to sit quietly, then please bring them.

Can I buy tickets at the box office on concert night?

Yes. Please arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the concert to purchase tickets as the box office.
